This lesson is about Image Slicing. If you hover your mouse over the header image above, you'll see that it has different number in different parts of the image and in the centre, it is a link back to my main page. This effect is easy to get. I used Paintshop Pro X to slice the image. If you click HERE you can see the image with a border around it.
